Q: In order to do technical analysis for day trading I want to have web site that provides real time charts and host of technical indicators to work on. BSE & NSE are not of much use and Yahoo Finance is late by 20 minutes and therfore not of any value for day traders. Q: I was wondering if anyone who is foerx trading likes the website they are using. I opened a practice account at forex.com and I hate the way the forex charting and entering a position works. I was if anyone has found something better.
A: I found forex.com a bit confusing and awkward as well. I like using Interbank FX. They have the MetaTrader 4 platform and I find it fairly user friendly.

Q: I have been testing out the Ninja Trader platform for Indices, forex eminis and futures, it seems fast and I like the on chart trading and audible trade alerts features, Has anyone had any problems using Ninja trader and hoe do you rate it, are there better platforms out there?
A: I was at the first webinar today on the ATM feature. It looks great! I’ll be using it for equities and perhaps FX with IB. ThinkOrSwim is my favorite broker… but for day trading Ninja/IB combo seems hard to beat.

Q: I’ve been trading in forex for about a month and i need a charting software.Do you guys know any free charting software or any cheap one? A: Charting software comes free with the platform from your forex dealer. That’s why they all give 30 day free trials with demo accounts: so you can see if you like the software. If you don’t like what your dealer supplies, then change dealers, but try a demo account with the new dealer first.

Q: I’m trying to create a chart for an exchange rate between any 2 assets. You can easily see charts like this on any forex website, like a EUR/USD chart for example.
But I want to create my own exchange rate, like let’s say: $Lumber/$Gold, or $Cattle/$Hog.
I have the 2 columns of price data for each commodity, but I don’t know what to do with them! For some reason this should be really simple, but it’s just not coming to me.

Q: What Exactly Is Pivot Point? And how does it help in forex and candle chart studies?A: A pivot point is a calculation of support and resistance lines based on the high, low and close price of the previous day.
