Q:   Lets say at a 1% margin, I invest $500 into a forex broker. I get $50,000 in margin and invest in the USD/JPY at 90.232. I buy 6 lots blah blah blah.
My question is, if the currency I bought goes up, and I end up selling it and making a gross profit of $1000 (lifting my total balance to $51,000), do I get to keep the $1000, or merely 1% of $1000 which would be $10 (since I’m trading at a 1% margin).

Q:  I recently recieved $50,000 in a settlement for a car accident I was in two years ago. Im very interested in the forex market and as of right now I have limited knowledge but I want to invest maybe 5-10k in the forex market. Q:  Is it harder to predict the price of gold and oil or the price of stocks and currencies?
A:  You can buy and sell both gold and oil futures. All futures are bought on margin (leveraged) so yes, like forex. But you need to set up an account with a commodities broker to deal this way.

Q:  Is it possible to trade the forex spot market without using indicators?
I would appreciate any forex strategy that would involve trading successfully without indicators if there is such a thing.
A:  My clients and I also have moved away from indicators, charts and signal services. We take a “Forex investing” approach as opposed to a Forex “trading approach”.
Taking a long term view we utilize a hedging strategy whereby we do not care if the market goes up or down. We make money either way.

I’m looking for experienced forex traders to share what broker they think is best. Im looking for an ECN broker, not a market maker that trades against their clients. I want to actualy be able to enter my trade in the interbank market between the spread so I can see it.
Currently I use Interactive Brokers, but im looking for a more specialized forex broker.
