The forex market is the place to do forex transaction, or a variety of different currencies to be exchanged in the sites. The foreign exchange market exists because:

- Trade and investment

Importers and exporters cost a currency when they import, and in the export they cost another currency. This means that when they settle the accounts, the receipt and payment in different currencies. Therefore, they need to make their received money be converted into the money for the purchase of commodities. Similarly, a company buys foreign assets,it must use another currency to pay, therefore, it needs to make national currency  be converted into of another currency.

- Speculation

The exchange rate between two currencies will change because of the change of the supply and demand between these two currencies. Traders buy a currency at a exchange rate, while sell at another more favorable exchange rate, he can profit. Speculation occupies  the vast majority of the forex market transactions.

-Conflict

 Because of  exchange rate fluctuation between the two relevant currencies, those companies which have foreign assets, it may suffer some risks when they make the foreign assets to be converted into the domestic currency. When a foreign currency-denominated foreign assets is in the stable value for a certain period of time, if the exchange rate changes , to convert the assets in domestic currency, it will generate profit and loss. Companies can eliminate this potential gains or losses through conflict.
