Some investment groups offer this software for free or provide a free trial for a limited time period before opening an account. I’ve done this with currencies but not precious metals. Can you recommend a good source for me? Thank you!

Trade GLD or SLV (both are ETF’s, Gold & Silver). Use technical analysis with a good charting package. It’s the cheapest way to trade these metals and you don’t have storage issues.

Use your stock broker. If you need a great platform with numerous order types and great charting….. check out ThinkOrSwim.com. All trades are in “real time”.

Suspect that if it is in a book it will fail because of the pump & dump scam. The successful traders will know about such methods and will deliberately game them, thereby helping themselves to your money.

Other than that, stick only to volatile stocks, and good, er, luck!

I have a copy of London Forex Rush. Have tested it out for a month and the results are pretty good.

Useful for me as I do intra-day trading in sterling. The results with London Forex rush are definitely better than those that I do without it.

It’s very difficult to know who to trust. Many of the people who sell seminars and e-books have good intentions, but it’s also very difficult to teach someone how to trade. It’s something you have to learn for yourself.

I recommend that you start by reading everything you can at your local bookstore about stocks and Forex trading. That will give you an introduction, and some ideas. Then open a free Forex demo account and start playing around. There’s also a lot of free information online which might help point you in the right direction.
